Our History

Savage Sales Solutions (parent co. Savage Sales, LLC.) was started by Bruce Savage over 30 years ago in St. Louis, MO with just a small desk, telephone and understanding that an opportunity existed to bring a more reliable, more competitively priced paper to market.

Bruce leveraged his previous relationships in the industry as a Sales Executive for Borden Decorative products and was able to connect with a manufacturer in Taiwan, MANDARIN DÉCOR. It was this relationship that helped bring value paper for cabinets to many accounts in the Midwest.

In 1998, in search of a supplier of PVC Films for a customer, Bruce contacted FILMTEX and traveled to Bogotá, COL. A business relationship started and shortly thereafter, the “Mansion” lineup of films was developed. This embossed, PVC film which is used for the lamination of ceiling panels, was a homerun in the RV and MFH markets.

With the hopes of adding a laminate line and further diversifying his portfolio, Bruce turned to RIKEN, USA (US division of Riken Technos), a Japanese manufacturer of premium thermofoil and 3D laminates. Riken’s commitment to quality, customer service and timeliness of product delivery (with warehouses in both CA and MI) has proven to be a great addition to the Savage Sales book of product offerings.

As the business grew and demand spiked in 2019, Bruce looked to some help in the form of his son, Jordan, to not only keep up with changing customer needs but to scale the business and track down emerging opportunities. In February of 2020, Jordan joined the team after nearly 10 years in the automotive industry working for Nissan Motor Co.

As a field rep in major metro markets and more recently, Chief Marketing Manager for small cars, Jordan brings with him experience in logistics, marketing and supplier relations. Despite joining the team at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jordan helped Savage Sales Solutions record their second-best total sales year ever.
